Brooksville, FL -- Southbound I-75 traffic was switched to a temporary, new alignment Tuesday morning, May 8 and is now sharing a bridge with northbound I-75 traffic. Both directions of travel still have two through-lanes in each direction, separated by barrier wall on the shared bridge. Traffic will remain in this alignment while a new southbound bridge is constructed.
Motorists exiting southbound I-75 to US 98/SR 50 (Exit 301) should be alert that the exit point has moved about one-half mile to the north, meaning drivers will exit the mainline travel lanes much sooner. Signs are in place to guide motorists to the new exit point.
