About

The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor is widening and reconstructing US Highway 19 in Homosassa Springs from four lanes to a six-lane divided highway from West Green Acres Street to West Jump Court.

The improvements will take place within the existing rights of way and will increase roadway capacity and improve safety along the corridor. Among the improvements are adding an additional lane in each direction with paved shoulders, designated bike lanes on the paved shoulders, and sidewalks on both sides of US 19.
