Work Type Widening
Phase Design
Limits From Suncoast Parkway to US 41 at Ayers Road
Length 2.9 miles
Design Cost $4 million
ROW Cost $14.8 million

This project will create a new four-lane roadway connecting CR 578 (County Line Road)  to Ayers Road (CR 576) at US 41. The project will widen County Line Road between the Suncoast Parkway and the new Ayers Road connection.

In addition to the new Ayers Road and the widening of CR 578, an 11-foot wide multi-use path will be built on the north side of CR 578 and the west and north sides of the new Ayers Road. The multi-use path will connect to the Suncoast Trail. The roadway is being designed to accommodate future widening to three lanes in each direction.

The 2.9-mile project is just north of the Pasco/Hernando County line. It begins east of the Suncoast Parkway and ends at US 41 at Ayers Road in Masaryktown.

The project is currently in design. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2019.
