As part of the new Ayers Road project, an 11-foot wide multi-use path will be built on the north side of CR 578 and the west and north sides of the new Ayers Road. The multi-use path will connect to the Suncoast Trail.
New traffic signals will be installed at both intersections of Trillium Blvd. and Ayers Road and at the intersection of Ayers Road and US 41.
The 2.9-mile project is just north of the Pasco/Hernando County line. It begins east of the Suncoast Parkway and ends at US 41 at Ayers Road in Masaryktown.
Construction is anticipated to begin in the fall of 2019 and be complete in the summer of 2022.
