About
This project will repave US 19 (34th St.) between 54th Avenue South and 22nd Avenue North.
In addition to repaving the roadway, the outside lanes of US 19 between 54th Avenue South and 22nd Avenue South will be repurposed as business access transit lanes.
Highway lighting will be replaced at the signalized intersections, the sidewalk will be widened to eight feet on both sides of the roadway where possible, and medians along the corridor will also be modified to enhance safety.
Construction is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
*Construction cost includes original construction contract amount plus approved contract changes. It does not include inspection oversite.
