As of June 16, 2022, all construction activities associated with this project have been completed. 

This design-build project will address safety improvements with the new construction and retrofitting roadway lighting with LED luminaires at various intersections along SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) in Hillsborough County.

Various Intersections include: 

• Location 1: SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) at Lambright Street
• Location 2: SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) at Hamilton Avenue
• Location 3: SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) at Linebaugh Avenue
• Location 4: SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) at Lake Carroll Way
• Location 5: SR 597 (Dale Mabry Highway) at Hudson Lane

Improvements include but are not limited to retrofitting existing roadway lighting fixtures with LED luminaires, installation of new light poles.

Status: Construction is anticipated to finish in the summer of 2022
