Drainage Work Closing Henderson Boulevard in March

Continuing at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17 through 7 a.m. Monday, March 20, the Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor, Gosalia Concrete Constructors, Inc., will close Henderson Boulevard to the west of Dale Mabry Highway (US 92) in South Tampa. An additional weekend closures is planned for March 31 – April 3.

These weekend closures are necessary for crews to install drainage pipes along the west side of Dale Mabry Highway at Henderson Boulevard.

Drivers to detour around the work zone using Dale Mabry Highway, Bay-to-Bay Boulevard, and Manhattan Boulevard to access Henderson Boulevard.

Beginning mid-March, motorists should use caution while driving through this section of Dale Mabry Highway as a new traffic pattern will reduce southbound traffic to one lane between Henderson Boulevard and Neptune Street for approximately 90 days.

Electronic message boards and detour signs will assist drivers traveling through this area. Motorists should allow extra travel time as traffic delays may occur on all nearby roads during these weekend closures.
