DRIVER ALERT >>> New traffic pattern at US 98 / US 301 / 7th Street intersection in Dade City
The second roundabout in the project area partially opened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025 for the following traffic movements:
- Southbound 7th Street to southbound US 98/US 301.
- Southbound US 98 Bypass to northbound 7th Street.
- Southbound US 98 Bypass to southbound US 98/US 301.
Southbound US 98 Bypass traffic is now directed through the roundabout to continue south on US 98 / US 301. Northbound US 98 / US 301 traffic continues in the previous alignment just outside of the roundabout as construction continues to complete the roundabout.
Construction now shifts to phase 2 with the goal to open all traffic movements through this roundabout by mid-December.
