Clearwater, FL – Beginning Sunday, March 19, the Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor Hubbard Construction, Co., to close the US 19 northbound ramp from Frontage Road located just north of Nursery Road. This access to US 19 is expected to remain closed for approximately six weeks, weather permitting.

During this closure, motorists will detour around the work zone by continuing north on Frontage Road towards the next US 19 entrance ramp which is located just north of Seville Boulevard.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays and congestion.

These closures are necessary as part of the new pedestrian overpass being constructed over US 19 just north of Harn Boulevard in Pinellas County. This project is expected to finish during summer of 2023.
