This design-build project includes installing approximately eight miles of conduit and fiber optic cable and adds eleven closed-circuit television cameras that will connect to the existing Hillsborough County Advanced Transportation Management System.
These upgrades will allow traffic engineers to monitor traffic and adjust signals to enhance efficiency.
The design-build project is anticipated to finish in the fall of 2019.
