About
As of May 15, 2023, all work was completed and this project was final-accepted from the contractor.
This design-build project constructed a new interstate interchange on I-75 at Overpass Road, approximately 3.5 miles south of SR 52 in Pasco County.
The new diamond interchange includes a flyover ramp for westbound Overpass Road access onto southbound I-75.
To accommodate the new interchange, Overpass Road was widened from two lanes to four lanes between the interstate and Old Pasco Road and six lanes between the interstate and Boyette Road. Blair Drive was realigned to connect with Old Pasco Road. McKendree Road was realigned to connect with Boyette Road.
Sidewalks were built along Overpass Road. A 10-foot wide sidewalk was constructed on the north side of Overpass Road (next to the westbound traffic lanes) and a 6-foot wide sidewalk was built on the south side (next to the eastbound traffic lanes).

Project Update >>> Interchange is now OPEN!
The new I-75 interchange at Overpass Road in Pasco County opened to traffic January 18, 2023!
Located about halfway between the CR-SR 54 and SR 52 interchanges, the new Exit 282 provides an alternative commuting option to area residents.
The interchange includes exit and entrance ramps to both directions of I-75 and features a “flyover” ramp for westbound Overpass Road traffic entering southbound I-75.
