THIS PROJECT WAS ACCEPTED ON AUGUST 19, 2020.

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Ajax Paving Industries of Florida, is making freight vehicle modifications to the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686) and 62nd Street in Pinellas County by improving the turning radius for the eastbound to southbound movements and westbound to southbound movements. 

Construction activities include: 

-  modifying the southwest corner curve radius

-  making improvements to the traffic signal

- restriping the northbound approach by shifting the lane line striping east at the intersection

Construction is expected to start in early 2020.
