The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor, Cheyenne Asphalt, is replacing the traffic signals at Adamo Drive (SR 60) and 19th Street near Port Tampa Bay. Other improvements include repaving the roadway, adding new pedestrian signals and constructing a multi-use trail along the north side of Adamo Drive from east of 19th Street to the existing Selmon Greenway.
Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures may occur nightly Sunday through Thursday from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am. Access to driveways are being maintained.
The $577,079 project begins in late October and is expected to finish in early 2017.
