Changing Traffic Pattern this Thursday on SR 39 (James L Redman Parkway) in Plant City

Beginning early Thursday morning, September 10, 2026, motorists should expect a change to the existing traffic pattern along SR 39 (James L Redman Parkway) between Rayburn Road and Golden Rule Lane in Plant City.

Drivers should continue to expect delays and congestion while traveling through the project limits, as crews move into the next phase of construction by removing and replacing the east side of the roadway’s asphalt surface (future northbound lanes) with concrete pavement.

In addition, improvements to SR 39 (James L Redman Parkway) and Charlie Griffin Road include adding a crosswalk across the south side of the intersection, updating traffic signals and highway lighting, and repairing sections of sidewalk.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.

This project is expected to finish in early 2027, weather permitting.
