Update: 298th Avenue N Access from US 19 Remains Closed
Clearwater, FL – Access to 298th Avenue N from northbound US 19 remains closed and is expected to reopen by Friday, October 16, weather permitting.
During this temporary road closure, motorists will have to detour around the work zone using 297th Avenue N, 70th Street N and 69th Street N.
Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
This temporary road closure is for the ongoing improvements to US 19 from SR 580 to the north of CR 95 in Pinellas County.
