US 19 Southbound Entrance Ramp from Sunset Point Road Closing Thursday Night

Clearwater, FL – Beginning at 10 p.m., Thursday, September 11 to 6 a.m. Friday, September 12, the southbound US 19 entrance ramp from Sunset Point Road will close overnight, weather permitting.

During this temporary ramp closure, motorists will travel west on Sunset Point Road, turn left onto Belcher Road, then turn left on Drew Street, and proceed toward the frontage road to access the southbound US 19 entrance ramp.

Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should expect delays during these detours.

The FDOT is repaving US 19 from Drew Street to Sunset Point Road in Pinellas County. Construction activities are expected to finish late 2025.
