Clearwater, FL – Beginning at 10 p.m., Wednesday, May 27 to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 28, eastbound SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) will close just east of the Bayside Bridge and to the west of Ben T. Davis Beach, weather permitting.
During this closure, eastbound traffic on SR 60 (Courney Campbell Causeway) will have to use CR 611 (Bayside Bridge), turn left onto Ulmerton Road, continue east toward the northbound I-275 entrance ramp onto the Howard Frankland Bridge to access SR 60.
Advanced warning signs and message boards will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
This temporary nighttime closure is necessary for crews to perform overhead bridge work as part of the SR 60 (Courtney Campbell Causeway) pedestrian overpass project in Pinellas County. For more information on this project or to sign up to receive traffic alerts, please visit FDOT Tampa Bay.
