I-275 Express Lanes in Pinellas County to be closed two nights
The I-275 Express Lanes in Pinellas County (between Gandy Boulevard and 4th Street N) are planned to be closed as follows, weather permitting.
- Southbound closed: 11 p.m. Wednesday, October 14 to 4 a.m. Thursday, October 15.
- Northbound closed: 11 p.m. Thursday, October 15 to 4 a.m. Friday, October 16
DETOURS: Drivers can use the non-tolled lanes when the express lanes are closed.

Lane closures (eastbound): Sunday, October 11 through Thursday, October 15 nights from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Southbound I-275 Exit 25 ramp to 38th Avenue N is CLOSED temporarily
St. Petersburg – The southbound I-275 Exit 25 ramp to 38th Avenue N is closed (began early today -- October 5, 2026) for an extended period. The exit ramp is expected to be closed for widening, drainage, lighting, and other work for approximately two months. The ramp is estimated to reopen in mid-December, weather permitting.
The detour for the Exit 25 ramp closure is signed to guide drivers as follows:
- DETOUR for southbound I-275 Exit 25 ramp to 38th Avenue N: Continue south on I-275 past Exit 25 and exit at 22nd Avenue N (Exit 24). At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and go west on 22nd Avenue N, then turn right onto US 19 (34th Street N) and go north to 38th Avenue N.
