Northbound I-75 Ramp (Exit 256) to Selmon Expressway Closing Nightly

Riverview, FL - Starting Monday, February 10, through Friday, February 14, the northbound I-75 ramp (Exit 256) to the Selmon Expressway will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists needing to access the Selmon Expressway from northbound I-75 will have to exit the interstate using Exit 257, turn right onto SR 60, turn left onto Faulkenburg Road, and proceed toward the Selmon Expressway entrance ramp.  

Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

These temporary ramp closures are necessary for ongoing concrete pavement repairs to I-75 from Progress Boulevard to Woodberry Road in Hillsborough County.

Full Closure of SR 574 (Dr MLK Jr Blvd) Over I-75 Monday and Tuesday Nights

Tampa, FL – A full road closure of SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) over I-75 between Falkenburg Road and Williams Road, will occur at night on Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.

Electronic message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling on SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd) via the posted detour routes using US 301, I-4, and Mango Road.

In addition, southbound I-75 motorists needing to access SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will exit the interstate using Exit 257; either continue west onto SR 60 (Adamo Drive), north onto US 301 or proceed east onto SR 60 (Brandon Boulevard), north onto Lakewood Drive toward SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard). Northbound I-75 motorists needing to access SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) will proceed toward I-4 (Exit 261), continue west toward Exit 7, south onto US 301, or east toward Exit 10, and south onto Mango Road. 

Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and are reminded to remain alert for construction workers.

Northbound I-75 Entrance Ramp from Gibsonton Drive Closing Nightly

Riverview, FL - Starting Thursday, January 23, through Sunday, February 23, the northbound I-75 entrance ramp from Gibsonton Drive will close nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.

Motorists needing to access the northbound I-75 entrance ramp from Gibsonton Drive, will have to detour around the work zone by proceeding north onto US 301, continuing north on US 301, and entering the interstate using the I-75 entrance ramp.  

Electronic message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

These temporary ramp closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete bridge deck repairs to I-75 over the Alafia River bridge in Hillsborough County.
