Suncoast Trail Trailhead is CLOSED
Odessa -- The Suncoast Trail Trailhead, located at the end of Touchpoint Drive on the north side of SR 54 in Pasco County, is now closed (began early June 23, 2026). The closure is expected to be in place until the end of the project, which is anticipated in summer 2027.

Partial closure of the right shoulder and merge lane (but full access to SR 589 will be available): Monday, June 22 through Saturday, June 27 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

SR 589 (Suncoast Parkway) southbound exit ramp to SR 54 
Partial closure of the right turn lane (but turns will be available): Monday, June 22 through Saturday, June 27 from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

US 41 (Land O' Lakes Boulevard) at Lake Patience Road
Lane closures: Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CR 54 from west of Flint Drive to US 301 (Gall Boulevard)
Lane closures/flagging operations: Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

SR 54 at Altamont Lane
Night lane closures: Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25 nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

I-75 northbound Exit 285 to SR 52
One of two lanes closed on the ramp to each direction of SR 52 (but turns available each way): Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25 nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Lane closures: Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25 nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Westbound SR 52 entrance ramp to southbound I-75 to be closed June 24 and 25 nights
The westbound SR 52 "loop" entrance ramp onto southbound I-75 is scheduled to be closed from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25 nights, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Traffic will continue west on SR 52 past the closed ramp, U-Turn at the traffic signal at Old Pasco Road, go east on SR 52, and turn right onto the entrance ramp to southbound I-75.

SR 39 from Chancey Road to south of Weicht Road

Covey Avenue to be closed at SR 39 June 22-26
Crystal Spring, FL -- Covey Avenue is scheduled to be closed between SR 39 and Partridge Boulevard to reconstruct the connection to SR 39 from 7 a.m. Monday, June 22 to 6 p.m. Friday, June 26, weather permitting..
DETOURS
Southbound SR 39 to Covey Ave. – Traffic will continue driving south, turn right onto Bay Avenue, then turn right onto Partridge Boulevard and go north to Covey Avenue.
Northbound SR 39 to Covey Ave. – Just less than 500 feet before Covey Avenue, drivers will turn left onto Bay Avenue, then turn right onto Partridge Boulevard and go north to Covey Avenue.

Truck detour route for eastbound SR 52 onto southbound SR 589 continues
Tractor-trailer drivers wanting to enter southbound SR 589 (Suncoast Parkway) from eastbound SR 52 are being detoured (began June 4, 2026) due to a closure of the right turn lane to the entrance ramp.
Non-truck vehicles are able to make the turn to the entrance ramp from the eastbound right thru lane, but large vehicles are not advised to try the tight turn and should take the signed detour route. This around-the-clock closure/detour is expected to be in place into approximately early August 2026.
DETOUR ROUTE: Large vehicles are directed to go south on Moon Lake Road, then east on Ridge Road and use the entrance ramp from Ridge Road onto southbound SR 589.

Northbound right turn lane partial closed (but turns still available) and the acceleration lane from Wire Road to northbound US 301 will be closed: Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
US 301 from Kingsmere Road to Wire Road
Southbound right lane closed around-the-clock until further notice

SR 575 CLOSED at US 301
Trilby/Lacoochee – SR 575 is closed on the east side of US 301, as of around 10 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. The closure is needed to begin construction of a roundabout at the intersection. The closure is expected to be in place until August 2026. SR 575 will remain open to local traffic east of the closure at US 301.
DETOURS: Drivers can access SR 575 by taking Cummer Road to Bower Road to SR 575. Access will also remain available from SR 50 (Cortez Blvd) by going south on Burwell Road (CR 575) which turns into SR 575 at Lacoochee Clay Sink Road.

Townsend Road closed at Jim Jordan Road
Townsend Road is closed to thru traffic at Jim Jordan Road for construction related to the realignment of US 98.It is expected to reopen in fall 2026.
Eastbound DETOUR: Turn right and go south on US 98, turn left onto Jim Jordan Road and go north, then turn right onto eastbound Townsend Road.
Westbound DETOUR: Turn left and go south on Jim Jordan Road, turn right onto northbound US 98, then turn left and go west on Townsend Road.
