SR 575 to be closed at US 301 into the summer

Trilby/Lacoochee – SR 575 is scheduled to close on the east side of US 301 beginning early Monday, March 2, 2026, to begin construction of a roundabout at the intersection. The closure is expected to be in place until August 2026. SR 575 will remain open to local traffic east of the closure at US 301.

DETOURS: Drivers can access SR 575 by taking Cummer Road to Bower Road to SR 575. Access will also remain available from SR 50 (Cortez Blvd) by going south on Burwell Road (CR 575) which turns into SR 575 at Lacoochee Clay Sink Road.

Pasco Avenue access to US 98/ Bypass closed temporarily

Dade City -- Access to and from the US 98 Bypass at Pasco Avenue (west side of US 98 Bypass) is closed until further notice for construction. 

DETOUR: Drivers can use Meridian Avenue and 3rd Street to access Pasco Avenue. 

Dixie Avenue access to US 98/US 301 closed temporarily

Dade City -- Access to and from US 98/US 301 at Dixie Avenue (east side of US 98/US 301) is closed until further notice for construction related to the US 98 Bypass widening project. 

DETOUR: Drivers can use Sunset Avenue and 3rd Street to access Dixie Avenue. 

US 98 between CR 54 and Townsend Road

Townsend Road closed at Jim Jordan Road

Townsend Road is closed to thru traffic at Jim Jordan Road for construction related to the realignment of US 98.It is expected to reopen in fall 2026.

Eastbound DETOUR: Turn right and go south on US 98, turn left onto Jim Jordan Road and go north, then turn right onto eastbound Townsend Road.

Westbound DETOUR: Turn left and go south on Jim Jordan Road, turn right onto northbound US 98, then turn left and go west on Townsend Road.
