Southbound I-275 exit ramps to Roosevelt Boulevard or 118th Avenue/Toll SR 690 to be closed at night
One of two ramp movements may be closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Sunday, April 29 and Monday, April 30 nights at the southbound I-275 Exit 30 interchange. Only one ramp will be closed at a time; detours will be provided. Here are the two movements that will be closed and the associated detours:
Southbound I-275 to Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686): Traffic wishing to go to Roosevelt Blvd. will be directed to the ramp that goes to 118th Avenue N. At the exit to 118th Avenue N., turn right at the bottom of the ramp onto eastbound 118th Avenue, then turn left onto northbound 28th Street N and go north to Roosevelt Blvd.
Southbound I-275 to Toll SR 690 and 118th Avenue N: Traffic wishing to go to Toll SR 690 or 118th Avenue N will be directed onto westbound Roosevelt Boulevard (SR 686). At 28th Street N. traffic will turn left and go south to 118th Avenue N. Turn right onto 118th Avenue N and go west. There is no access to Toll SR 690 from this route. The only southbound I-275 access to Toll SR 690 during the ramp closure will be from the southbound I-275 Express Lane.
Access to all these roads from northbound I-275 will not be affected.
Southbound US 19 exit ramp onto SR 690 (Gateway Expressway) to be closed at night
The southbound US 19 ramp onto eastbound SR 690 is scheduled to be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 nights, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Exit at Ulmerton Road, go south on Frontage Road, turn left onto eastbound 118th Avenue N, and use the left lane entrance ramp onto eastbound SR 690.

Westbound SR 690 (Gateway Expressway) exit ramp onto northbound US 19 to be closed at night
The westbound SR 690 ramp onto northbound US 19 is scheduled to be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 nights, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Traffic will be directed to exit onto westbound 118th Avenue N, where drivers can continue west on 118th Avenue N, turn right onto northbound Frontage Road, and then use the entrance ramp onto northbound US 19.
I-275 Express Lanes to be closed at night
The northbound and/or southbound I-275 Express Lanes in Pinellas County are scheduled to be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 nights, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Use the I-275 general use (free) travel lanes.
Eastbound SR 690 (Gateway Expressway) Express Lane ramp onto northbound I-275 to be closed at night
The eastbound SR 690 Express Lane entrance ramp onto northbound I-275 is scheduled to be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 nights, weather permitting.
DETOUR: Drivers can use the general use (free) entrance ramp to the right of the Express Lane ramp into the free lanes of northbound I-275.

Nebraska Avenue between Palm Avenue and Columbus Drive Continues Closing Nightly
Tampa, FL – Continuing Sunday, July 28 through Thursday, August 1, Nebraska Avenue will close nightly between Palm Avenue and Columbus Drive from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Northbound Nebraska Avenue motorists will detour around the work zone by turning east onto Palm Avenue, north onto Nuccio Parkway, proceeding north on 15th Street, and west onto 21st Avenue.
Southbound Nebraska Avenue motorists will detour around the work zone by turning east onto Columbus Drive, south onto Avenida República de Cuba, proceeding south on Nuccio Parkway, and west onto Palm Avenue.
Electronic message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through each work zone and are reminded to remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary nighttime road closures are necessary for crews to perform overhead construction work as part of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project. This project is expected to finish in 2027.

Westbound I-4 Ramp to Northbound I-275 Closing Nightly
Tampa, FL – A temporary closure of the westbound I-4 entrance ramp to northbound I-275 will occur nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday (July 28 - August 1), weather permitting.
Motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing west on I-4, exiting the interstate using Exit 45A (Downtown East/West), keeping left at the fork toward Downtown East, continuing south on Orange Avenue, turning left onto Cass Street, turning left onto Cass Orange Connector, and continuing north to re-enter the interstate using the northbound I-275 entrance ramp.
Advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These nightly ramp closures are necessary as crews perform overhead bridge work as part of the Downtown Tampa Interchange (I-275/I-4) Safety and Operational Improvements project. This project is expected to finish in 2027.

Sidewalk / parking spaces to temporarily close at old Pasco County Courthouse
Dade City -- Sidewalk and parking spaces along CR 52 / Meridian Avenue in front of the old Pasco County Courthouse (37918 Meridian Ave.) are scheduled to be closed around-the-clock from Monday, July 29, 2024 to approximately Friday, August 9, 2024. The sidewalk and parking spaces are on the south side of Meridian Avenue between US 98 / 7th Street and 6th Street. The closures are needed for drainage improvements being constructed with the CR 52 resurfacing project.
DETOUR: Pedestrian traffic will be routed around the work area using sidewalks along 7th Street, Pasco Avenue, and 6th Street.
CR 52 closed at the Pompanic Street / College Avenue intersection
San Antonio / St. Leo, FL – The intersection of CR 52, Pompanic Street, and College Avenue closed June 5, 2024. This is an around-the-clock closure for all CR 52 thru-traffic. CR 52 is expected to reopen in approximately mid-to-late August, weather permitting. The closure is needed for continued construction of a new roundabout at the intersection.
DETOUR: Motorists can detour around the closed area of CR 52 using State Road 52 between Curley Road and Prospect Road. There are also local detours in place for Pompanic Street and College Avenue, as these roads currently do not have access to CR 52. To access downtown San Antonio from CR 52, drivers can use Curley Street or Joe Herrmann Drive. Detour Map
College Avenue closed at CR 52
San Antonio / St. Leo, FL -- College Avenue is closed around-the-clock until late summer 2024 (began February 5, 2024) at CR 52. The closure is needed for the roundabout construction at the CR 52 / College Avenue / Pompanic Street intersection. Traffic is routed around the closed portion of College Avenue using CR 52 and Joe Hermann Drive described in more detail below. Drivers are encouraged to plan a few minutes extra time to travel the detour routes. Businesses on College Avenue can be accessed from Joe Hermann Drive and from southbound Pompanic Street.
Pompanic Street closed at CR 52
San Antonio / St. Leo, FL -- Northbound Pompanic Street is closed around-the-clock until late summer 2024 (began April 2, 2024) from CR 52 to just north of Pennsylvania Avenue. The closure is needed for the roundabout construction at the CR 52 / College Avenue / Pompanic Street intersection. Traffic is routed around the closed portion of Pompanic Street using SR 52, Curley Street, Joe Hermann Drive, and Jesse Jones Avenue. Drivers are encouraged to plan a few minutes extra time to travel the detour routes. Southbound Pompanic Street is open onto westbound College Avenue.
