Old Lakeland Highway to be closed under US 98 during the day beginning May 4 (new starting date)

Please note the new closure dates. This work was planned to begin April 27, but has been postponed to begin May 4.

Old Lakeland Highway (Alternate CR 35) is scheduled to be closed to all traffic under the US 98 overpass Monday, May 4 through Wednesday, May 6 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. The closures are needed for beam setting and bridge work over the roadway.

DETOUR: Traffic will be detoured using US 98, US 301, Clinton Avenue, and Old Lakeland Highway. Drivers are advised to choose alternate routes or plan extra time into their travel schedules for additional time that may be needed to travel through the detour route.
