Old Lakeland Highway to be closed under US 98 during the day Friday

Old Lakeland Highway (Alternate Pasco CR 35) is scheduled to be closed to all traffic under the US 98 overpass Friday, May 8 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. The closure is needed for beam setting and bridge work over the roadway. The closure that was scheduled for Thursday, May 7 has been canceled.

DETOUR: Traffic will be detoured using US 98, US 301, Clinton Avenue, and Old Lakeland Highway. Drivers are advised to choose alternate routes or plan extra time into their travel schedules for additional time that may be needed to travel through the detour route.
