Old Lakeland Highway to be closed under US 98 during the day May 7th and 8th (new starting date)

Old Lakeland Highway (Alternate CR 35) is expected to be closed to all traffic under the US 98 overpass Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting. The closures are needed for beam setting and bridge work over the roadway.

DETOUR: Traffic will be detoured using US 98, US 301, Clinton Avenue, and Old Lakeland Highway. Drivers are advised to choose alternate routes or plan extra time into their travel schedules for additional time that may be needed to travel through the detour route.
