Drivers on southbound I-275 between Roosevelt Boulevard (Exit 30) and 38th Avenue N (Exit 25) can expect nightly lane closures and new around-the-clock lane alignments. Southbound I-275 general use traffic lanes are being shifted toward the median, continuing southward from where traffic was shifted during the week of January 18th (so far to just north of 54th Avenue N).

Nightly lane closures on the general use lanes between SR 686-Roosevelt Boulevard / SR 690-Gateway Expressway (Exit 30) and 38th Avenue N (Exit 25) are planned from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Sunday, January 25 through Thursday, January 29 nights, weather permitting.

Drivers should be extra alert to lane shifts in all lanes and the new merge location that is now in place before Gandy Boulevard for traffic entering the left lane of the general use lanes from the southbound Express Lane. The lane shifts and new merge area will be in place for the next phases of the I-275 widening project.
