Southbound McIntosh Road Under I-4 Closing Tonight

Dover, FL – Temporary nighttime closure of southbound McIntosh Road under I-4 will occur tonight from 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, to 5 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, weather permitting.

Message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling through the detour route using US 92 (Hillsborough Avenue), Kingsway Road, and Muck Pond Road.

Drivers should remain alert for construction workers and use caution while traveling through the work zone.

These closures are necessary as crews pave a section of Mc Intosh Road as part of the I-4 interchange improvements at McIntosh Road (Exit 14) in Hillsborough County.
