Tonight: Temporary road closure of Falkenburg Road south of SR 60

Brandon, FL – A temporary road closure of Falkenburg Road to the south of SR 60 (Adamo Drive) will occur from 8:30 p.m., Thursday, February 26 to 1 a.m., Friday, February 27, weather permitting.

Message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling through the detour route using Gornto Lake Road, and Causeway Boulevard to access Falkenburg Road.

Advanced warning signs and message boards will assist motorists traveling through the detour. Drivers should remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians in the area.

This temporary road closure is necessary for crews to perform paving operations as part of the SR 60 (Brandon Boulevard) repaving project from Falkenburg Road to Lake Kathy Drive in Hillsborough County.
