Trapnell Road west of SR 39 Closing Nightly

Plant City, FL – Nightly closures of Trapnell Road to the west of State Road 39 will occur Monday, May 11, through Thursday, May 14, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.

During these nighttime closures, drivers will have to detour around the work zone using Holloway Road and Mud Lake Road to access Trapnell Road west of SR 39 in Plant City.

Drivers may experience traffic delays and congestion on nearby roads as crews perform grinding operations of the new concrete travel lanes at the intersection of SR 39 at Trapnell Road. All travel lanes on SR 39 and Trapnell Road east of the intersection will remain open to traffic during this phase of the project.

Message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.

This project is replacing the asphalt pavement at the intersection of SR 39 and Trapnell Road with a concrete surface in Hillsborough County.
