US 98 Bypass project is finished!

Dade City -- As of July 22, 2026, all construction activities have been completed on the design-build project to widen the US 98 Bypass from two lanes to a four lane highway between 7th St. S and 7th St. N.

Two roundabouts were built with the project: One is at 7th Street S and one at Old Lakeland Highway. Other improvements included new signalized intersections, drainage, and sidewalks.
