Weekend Closure Coming to US 301 Under I-75 in Tampa

Tampa, FL - A full road closure of US 301 under I-75 between Harney Road and Williams Road will occur from 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 31, to 5:30 a.m. Monday, August 3, weather permitting.

Message boards and temporary signage will assist motorists traveling through the detour route using Harney Road and Williams Road. Sections of US 301, including side streets and driveways, will remain open to local traffic during this weekend road closure.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.

This road closure is necessary for crews to perform overhead bridge work as part of the I-75 widening from the Tampa Bypass Canal to Fowler Avenue in Hillsborough County.
