Westbound I-4 Entrance Ramp from Thonotosassa Road Closing Thursday Night

Tampa, FL - Beginning at 9 p.m., Thursday, April 9, to 5 a.m., Friday, April 10, the westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Thonotosassa Road (SR 566) will close for paving, weather permitting.

Motorists needing to access westbound I-4 from Thonotosassa Road will have to enter the interstate via the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp, continue east on I-4, exit at Exit 21, turn left onto Alexander Street, and re-enter the interstate via the westbound I-4 entrance ramp.

Message boards and signage will assist motorists traveling through the area. Drivers should use caution while driving through each work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

This temporary ramp closure is part of the I-4 interchange improvements at Thonotosassa Road (Exit 19) in Hillsborough County.
