Westbound I-4 Ramp to Southbound I-75 Closing Thursday Night

Tampa, FL – A temporary closure of the westbound I-4 ramp to southbound I-75 will occur from 9 p.m., Thursday, April 16, to 5 a.m., Friday, April 17, weather permitting.

Motorists will have to detour around the work zone by continuing west on I-4, exiting at Exit 7, staying right at the fork, then merging onto southbound US 301, re-entering the interstate via the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp, and proceeding toward Exit 9 onto southbound I-75.

Electronic message boards and signage will assist drivers traveling through the area. Motorists should use caution while driving through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.

This nighttime temporary ramp closure will allow crews to perform maintenance activities in Hillsborough County.
