This project is repaving US 301 from north of Bloomingdale Avenue to south of SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) along the frontage roads in Hillsborough County.

Other improvements include installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Pal River Road, adding sidewalk, performing minor bridge work, drainage and lighting work.  

Construction activities will take place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures including paving operations will occur at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.  

Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets to be maintained.

Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and should remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians. 

This project is expected to finish during early 2027.
