About
This project is repaving US 301 from north of Bloomingdale Avenue to south of SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) including frontage roads (Robert Tolle Road, Foxworth Road, and Garden Vista Drive) in Hillsborough County.
Other improvements include installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Palm River Road, adding sidewalk, performing minor bridge, drainage, and lighting work.
Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures including paving operations will occur at night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets to be maintained.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and should remain alert for construction workers and pedestrians.
This project is expected to finish during spring 2027.
