About
This project is installing an overhead flashing beacon at Harney Road and adding traffic signals at Stacy Road and McIntosh Road in the Thonotosassa area of Hillsborough County.
In addition, the improvements at Stacy Road and McIntosh Road include signalized pedestrian crossings and intersection lighting. The old Fort King Trail crossing to John B. Sargeant Sr. Memorial Park is being realigned to cross at the Stacy Road traffic signal.
Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures will occur at night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Motorists should use caution while driving through each work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
Construction activities are expected to finish during late 2024.
