About
Earlier this year, crews shifted traffic on SR 39 shifted to the east side of the road between Sparkman Road and Kilgore Road through the Trapnell Road intersection.
Over the coming months, drivers may continue to experience traffic delays and congestion on SR 39 as crews rebuild the southbound travel lanes. The intersection (eastbound/westbound Trapnell Road) remains open to traffic along with maintaining driveway and emergency vehicle access.
Message boards and signage are in place assisting drivers traveling through the area. Motorists are reminded to slow down, stay alert, and drive safely through the work zone.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is making improvements to the intersection of SR 39 and Trapnell Road in Hillsborough County. This project is replacing the intersection’s asphalt pavement with a durable concrete surface.
