The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build Firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is making operational and safety improvements to two Hillsborough County intersections:

  • SR 600 (US 92 Hillsborough Avenue) at N 47th Street
  • SR 45 (US 41 N Nebraska Avenue) at E 124th Avenue

Construction activities are expected to begin summer 2025.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.

    Lane Closures: Monday, February 16 through Friday, February 20 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    Night lane closures: Sunday, February 15 through Thursday, February 19 nights from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
