US 41B (Causeway Boulevard) Corridor Lighting Retrofit from SR 60 (Adamo Drive) to US 41/50th Street

The Florida Department of Transportation's Design-Build firm, Cone & Graham, Inc., is making roadway lighting improvements to US 41B (Causeway Boulevard) from SR 60 (Adamo Drive) to US 41/50th Street in Hillsborough County.

Safety improvements include installing new light poles and retrofitting existing light poles along USB 41.

Construction activities are expected to be complete in summer 2026.

What is design-build? Design-build is a method of project delivery in which one entity - the design-build team - works under a single contract with the FDOT (or any owner) to fully design and construct a project.  The contract work covers from initial design through construction completion.  This contract type typically allows for faster construction of a project as design and construction can be on-going simultaneously.
