About
This project will add landscaping along the I-275 corridor at select locations outside of the roadway, at interchanges, and near Robles Park in Tampa.
Work activities will begin once the I-275 Capacity Improvements project (FPIDs 431821-2-52-01, 443770-1-52-01) is complete.
The landscape design will utilize a diverse mix of site appropriate, Florida-friendly plant species that will increase the tree canopy and compliment the roadway aesthetics, while prioritizing public safety.
The project is currently in design.
Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2026.
