About
This project will improve the urban corridor on Highland Avenue from Violet Street to US 92 (Hillsborough Avenue) in Tampa.
Key improvements within the project limits include:
- Add 8 foot sidewalk along the western side of Highland Avenue
- Adding a crosswalk at Wilder Avenue
- Adding a crosswalk at Giddens Avenue
- Restore roadway pavement
- Upgrading the corridor lighting, ADA, pavement markings, and signage
Construction is currently anticipated to begin in late 2027.
