The purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement through resurfacing along this section of US 301 in Hillsborough County. 

In addition to resurfacing, the project also includes signing and pavement markings and minor drainage improvements.

Other improvements include sidewalk repair and constructing the inside shoulder.

Construction is currently anticipated to begin in Fall 2026.
