This project will add one auxiliary lane in the eastbound direction on I-4 from 15th Street to west of 25th Street in Hillsborough County.

This project also includes widening the I-4 eastbound bridge over 21st/22nd Street, constructing retaining walls, installing new LED lighting, signing and pavement markings, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)​.

Construction is anticipated Summer 2026.
