About
This project will add one auxiliary lane in the eastbound direction on I-4 from 15th Street to west of 25th Street in Hillsborough County.
Other improvements include:
- widening the I-4 eastbound bridge over 21st/22nd Street
- constructing retaining walls
- installing new LED lighting
- adding signing and pavement markings
- and installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
Construction is anticipated to begin fall of 2026.
