Intersection improvements are coming to SR 674 (E College Avenue) from Cameron Driggers Drive to east of 27th Street SE in Hillsborough County.
Improvements include:
- New mast arm traffic signal
- Extension of the eastbound left turn lane
- Minor drainage modifications
- Convert the existing median opening to a directional median opening
Construction activities are expected to begin Summer 2027.

Upcoming Public Meeting:
In-Person: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be hosting a public meeting for this project. Attend the public meeting in person anytime from Tuesday, March 24, 2026, 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ruskin-Sun City, 226 Teco Road, Ruskin, Florida 33570. Attendees will receive project information, view project displays, and have the opportunity to submit comments and speak with the project team.
For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the online presentation will be posted on this website on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Comments received or postmarked by April 7, will be included in the official meeting record.
