About
This project is repaving SR 582 (Fowler Avenue) from Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to 50th Street in Temple Terrace (Tampa), Hillsborough County.
Other improvements include:
- adding wide bike lane enhancements
- installing two midblock pedestrian signals at 14th Street and 17th Street
- constructing a new wide sidewalk
- adding a 14-ft. wide paved emergency access connection from the FDOT District 7 Headquarters (McKinley Drive to 46th Street)
Construction activities are expected to begin late 2026.
