As of July 17, 2023, all work was completed, and this project was final-accepted from the contractor.

This project widened SR 50 (Cortez Blvd.) from four to six lanes between Windmere Rd./Bronson Blvd. and US 98 (McKethan Rd.). Between US 98 (McKethan Rd.) and US 301 (Treiman Blvd.) in Ridge Manor, the former two-lane road was widened to a four-lane divided road with medians. The former roadway between US 98 and US 301 became the westbound lanes and new eastbound lanes were built approximately 64 feet south of the old roadway.  

This project also included improvements to pedestrian features, median openings, turn lanes and intersections.

Improvements on US 301 north and south of SR 50 were also included in this project.

Two construction projects 416732-3 & 416732-4 were combined into a single construction project. This page served as the source of information for the entire construction effort.
