The Florida Department of Transportation's contractor, Watson Civil Construction, Inc., is repaving 62nd Street North from Columbus Drive to the CSX Intermodal Center in Tampa.
Other improvements include replacing the existing drainage ditch with a closed reinforced concrete pipe system, adding bike lanes, and installing sidewalks.
Construction activities are expected to finish in summer of 2024.
