About

This project is widening SR 50 (Cortez Boulevard) between Cobb Road and Buck Hope Road from four lanes to six lanes.  The intersection of Cobb Road / W Jefferson Street / SR 50 is being rebuilt in concrete.

During the construction phases when the intersection is rebuilt, there will be around-the-clock lane closures. One lane will be open in each direction during the intersection reconstruction. Periodic lane closures will be scheduled as needed throughout the project area.

Other project improvements include milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, installing curb and gutter, drainage improvements, adding bicycle lanes, and building sidewalks.
