All construction activities associated with this project were completed during February 2025.
The Florida Department of Transportation replaced the asphalt pavement with a durable concrete surface at US 41 (Tamiami Trail) and Big Bend Road (CR 672) in Hillsborough County.
In addition to the intersection improvements, this project repaved approximately 8.5 miles of roadway between 15th Avenue and Bullfrog Creek, added a sidewalk along the west side of US 41, and connected existing sidewalks on the east side of US 41 from bus stops to nearby intersections.
