About
This project is adding a lane to southbound and northbound I-75 from south of the Tampa Bypass Canal to south of Fowler Avenue in Hillsborough County.
The bridges over the Tampa Bypass Canal and Harney Road are bring widened, and the bridge structures over US 301 are being replaced.
To construct the project, heavy machinery will be used during daytime and nighttime hours and at times, may produce noise, vibration, and require the use of bright lights during nighttime work.
Work requiring lane closures will occur at night between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
Construction is estimated to finish during fall of 2028.
This project is being constructed in conjunction with the pavement rehabilitation of I-75 from Broadway Avenue to Fowler Avenue in Tampa (FPN: 443630-2-52-01).
