All construction activities associated with this project were completed on Monday, April 28, 2025. 

This project widened Reo Street from a two-lane road to a four-lane road from Cypress Street to Gray Street in Tampa. 

The newly widened roadway has two southbound lanes, one northbound lane, and along the center a two-way turn lane. 

Improvements to the intersection of Cypress Street and Reo Street included adding an eastbound right turn lane, a westbound left turn lane, and installing a new traffic signal.  

In addition, a 10-foot-wide sidewalk will be added along Reo Street from Gray Street to Cypress Point Park.
