About
This project consists of widening Reo Street from a two-lane road to a four-lane road between Gray and Cypress streets in Tampa.
When complete, the newly widened roadway will have two lanes in the southbound direction, one lane in the northbound direction and a two-way turn lane.
Improvements to the Cypress Street / Reo Street intersection include adding an eastbound right turn lane, a westbound left turn lane, and installing a new traffic signal.
In addition, a 10-foot-wide sidewalk will be built along Reo Street from Gray Street to Cypress Point Park.
Construction activities will occur during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures will occur at night from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets will be maintained.
Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers.
