About

This project will install a new traffic signal at the intersection of US 19 and Hexam Road / Chicago Avenue in Hernando County. 

Other improvements include a new connection to northbound US 19 from Nicasio Road at Meadow Wren Avenue, pedestrian signals to cross all roads in the intersection, and pavement resurfacing.

Construction is nearing completion and is projected to be completed in late 2022.

ROADWAY CLOSURE

Nicasio Road access to and from Hexam Road was permanently closed on April 6, 2022.
