About

This project is repaving South Dale Mabry Highway (SR 573) from south of Pinewood Street to north of Ballast Point Boulevard in South Tampa.

In addition to repaving the roadway, this project is adding three midblock crossings and replacing the traffic signal at the intersection of South Dale Mabry Highway and Oklahoma Avenue with hurricane resistant poles. 

Construction activities are taking place during daytime and nighttime hours. Work requiring lane closures will occur from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.  

Access to driveways, sidewalks, and side streets will be maintained.

Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and remain alert for pedestrians and construction workers. 

Construction activities are expected to finish during fall of 2024.
