Westbound I-4 Ramp (Exit 3) to US 41 (50th Street) Closing Sunday and Monday Nights
Tampa, FL – Temporary closures of the westbound I-4 ramp (Exit 3) to US 41 (50th Street) will close nightly on Sunday, May 17, and Monday, May 18, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
During these temporary nighttime ramp closures, westbound motorists will need to use Exit 5, turn right onto SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard), and continue west toward SR 583 (50th Street).
Message boards and advance warning signs will assist motorists traveling through the detour. Drivers should use caution while traveling through each work zone and remain alert for construction workers.
These temporary ramp closures are necessary while crews pave a section of roadway to construct the westbound I-4 auxiliary lane from US 41 (50th Street) to SR 574 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) in Hillsborough County.
